19:00 Gold & Pagels - Soul, Pop, Jazz Duo
​The Patrick Pagels Swing Ensemble plays the best and worst pop songs by Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, The Beatles, Wham, Stevie Wonder, Adele, Marianne Rosenberg, Eurhythmics, ABBA and many more in the swinging garb of gypsy jazz. The swingtet (Llilian Gold and Bianca von Bötticher, vocals; Patrick Pagels, guitar; Heikos Quistorf, accordion; Axel Burkhardt double bass) forms a bridge between European gypsy swing and American jazz and, more recently, pop. Timeless, lively, emotional. Whether fast or slow, the music of Patrick Pagels Swing Ensemble is always spirited, passionate, swinging and never obtrusive. The band is literally bubbling over with inspiring ideas and greedy grooves, while being both, authentic and undoubtedly swinging. The band's sound is acoustic, warm and definitely not just a must for jazz lovers.
​​​20:30 The Kibardin Quartet - Tango - Mediterranean temperament meets Nordic sounds
​For this occasion the Kibardin Quartet will play -among others- Jens-Uwe Popp's “Waltz of the White Nights”, a homage to the bright summers of Scandinavia.
The four outstanding musicians immerse themselves in the tango world of the bayan virtuoso and composer Efim Jourist. He created astounding, expressive works, carried by sumptuous, melancholic melodies. He enriched the tango with gypsy jazz, classical music and a whole range of other dance influences. Michael Kibardin (violin), Alexander Pankow (bajan), Jens-Uwe Popp (guitar) and Guido Jäger (double bass) worked for many years with Efim Jourist, who died in 2007.

17:30 The Fallen Sundays
​At the beginning of the show, the audience is asked to suggest the title of a musical. Based on that single suggestion, the theater company The Fallen Sunday (Mia Fugl, Charly Waller, Jakob Bo Storjohann, Kate Pemberton, Silje Balsnæs and Øyvind Fossum) develops a spontaneous and live on stage musical, in which all characters, scenes, songs and dance routines are completely improvised. World premiere in Hamburg!
19:00 OUBLIE LOULOU - French chansons with Nordic charme
​OUBLIE LOULOU presents a suitcase full of far-away memories and evokes in their audience the irrepressible desire of wanderlust. Though France is South, the desire is Nordic as well and lead singer Anja Treskatis has more than once fascinated on the Nordic Stages with Poetic Sounds because in the end, don’t we all just dream to be be carried away by the music - Allez, en route!
20:30 Marshall Titus - Soul Music
​»My music is a true reflection of who I am, an artist who is not dictated by current trends or bound by tradition. I am guided by the longing of my creative soul.«
Born and raised in Chicago, Marshall Titus is an award-winning singer-songwriter, actor and producer who began his career in high school singing in local bands and vocal groups before finding national fame through a talent show. His musical journey took him to Europe, including Paris and Hamburg, where he lived and worked for nine years.

17:30 Memory of the lady from Bayreuth - Arne Nielsen
From 2015 to 2020 Arne “Donnie” Nielsen wrote poetry and short prose for a lady from Bayreuth. For the first time now, he shares with us the stories which the late lady liked best. A unique occasion and special preview, since two of the stories will be published as a pixi book this October titled “Herz zu Herz” by the Hamburg Literaturquickie Verlag.
Arne Nielsen's debut play “Die Vodkagespräche” is currently showing at the Hamburger Kammerspiele and the Danish-Norwegian born author, whose cult book “Donny has a new car and drives a little too fast”, was turned into a movie and premiered at the Hamburg Film Festival, is further looking forward the international opening of “Vodka Talks” the international debut of his theatre play to premiere this autumn in Scandinavia.
19:00 The Pop Swings – Pop goes Gypsy-Jazz
​Coincidence brought singer-songwriter Lilian Gold together with guitarist Patrick Pagels, but one thing was immediately crystal clear – this constellation fits! Two creative minds in music who think and perform alike have found each other. Giving their favorite soul and jazz pieces a new look, they always express their creativity through their very own and personal touch and dare to transform well known cultural assets, such as Rilke's texts to music. Whatever they touch, they turn into gold and let it shine on stage. The worlds of sounds Patrick creates live and spontaneous with his guitar are the fertile ground for Lilian's inexhaustible creative ideas to sprout.

Lilian Gold is a singer-songwriter and native of Hamburg with Ghanaian roots. She loves to enchant people with music - both with selected covers and with her own songs.As a guitarist, composer and arranger, Patrick Pagels is an active part of the German jazz and soul scene. Most recently, he attracted attention as a producer of various albums for "Toned", "Le Spin Ovale" and Jazzecho winner Caro Josée and Coco Zhao (China's jazz voice No. 1). In 2010 he founded his own label "EAR MY DEAR MUSIC".
20:30 DMH – Smooth Electro
​With a unique mixture of groovy and melancholic electro, pop melodies, folk sounds and ethnic elements, the three musicians from DMH know how to inspire their audience all over again. Their critically acclaimed covers of Depeche-Mode hits "Never Let Me Down Again" and "Canned Heats" have racked up over half a million streams on Spotify.
DMH is a German-Danish-Swedish collaboration between composer and guitarist Peter Musebrink/Deep Dive Corp. from Bremen, the Copenhagen DJ and composer Mashti and the singer Sebastian Lilja / Hush Forever from Malmö. In the constallation of this trio they have started to regularly perform as part of Move the North.

17:30 Vorlesemanufaktur - Counterattack
With their ruthlessness, their need for energy and their insatiability, humans have killed thousands upon thousands of species. But now the Homo sapiens should be on the watch.

The actors Maureen Havlena and Alexander Kruuse Mettin, co-founders of the Vorlesemanufaktur, read from Nadja Niemeyer's book »Counterattack«. A pamphlet against human hubris and a plea for diversity in nature.
Six actors from Hamburg have joined forces in order to establish the ”Vorlesemanufaktur”: Theresa Berlage, Maureen Havlena, Petra Van de Voort, Christine Wilhelmi, Andreas Grötzinger and Alexander Kruuse Mettin. Together they share 90 years of stage presence, 90 years full of bundled experiences with language and stories that they would like to share with their audience in presenting literature readings.

20:30 Charlie & Romas
​Charlie Waller is an Englishman living in Copenhagen. In the past he has performed with the Mark Ronsons Band, The Rumble Strips, Vincent Vincent and The Villains, among others. Romas Neniskis is a Lithuanian living in Copenhagen. He travels as a troubadour and regularly plays throughout Scandinavia. When they encounter to make music together, they mix '50s doo-wop with their very own style of rock n' roll. Surely a treat not to be missed!

17:30 Kathrin Weisser - Chiaroscuro
Chiaroscuro is a painting technique developed in the late Renaissance that is characterized by the strong contrast of light and dark. The German born actress Kathrin Weisser, who lives and performs in Copenhagen, transfers these contrasts to literature. Combining music and literature she digs into the realm of love and death, happiness and sorrow while featuring works by Franz Schubert, Heinrich Heine, Inger Christensen and William Blake.
19:00 Benny Brown Trio
The three full blood musicians Benny Brown (trumpet, flugelhorn), Wolf Kerschek (piano), and Felix Behrendt (bass) present new compositions and selected standards - this time as a trio. A constant alternation between composition and improvisation takes the audience into a particularly personal, detailed world of sound ranging from catchy melodies to loud explosions.
20:30 Julie Lind Quartet
Listening to their music is a bit like discovering the city before 9am on a peaceful Sunday morning: no one has appointments, the city is either not yet fallen asleep or just woken up A program with echoes of world stars like Billie Holiday and Norah Jones.
The Julie Lind Quartet (Julie Lind vocals; Asbjørn Kamban Larsen, trumpet; David Rønne Vang, Mads Nørgaard, bass and guitar) is a band that boldly mixes an old-fashioned romantic jazz universe with modern effects. Julie's singing is smooth and charming. The lyrics are direct and cozy but also subtle with their underlying humor and melancholy.

17:30 Classic Quartett plays Nordics
Madeleine Vaillancourt (violin), Hosuan Feng (violin), Laura Escanilla (viola), Valentin Priebus (cello) are musicians of the Hamburg NDR Elbphilharmonic Orchestra. They have teamed up for the Nordic Summer Vibes to present alongside Dovrak's American Quartet (Op. 96) traditional Danish tunes arranged by the Danish String Quartet, including Shine You No More by Rune Tonsgaard Sørenesen.
19:00 Anri Coza - Love you just a little bit
An evening full of emotions and artistic compositions which tell us stories about the ups and downs of life and about love: Anri Coza, the woman behind the piano and with the silver surfer curls, is no stranger to Hamburg stages. Since her appearance at The Voice of Germany in 2019 it is a rare opportunity to experience the South African-born artist perform in such a unique and intimate setting.
Anri decided to declutter the music and go back to the roots of her songs - songs which are always "born" at the piano. In order to give the songs an additional facet, she is accompanied on stage by the multi-instrumentalist Anne de Wolff.
20:30 Nordic Warrior Woman
The Amazons have been a topic of discussion for thousands of years. Who were they and why are they called Amazons? What is the difference between an amazon and a warrior woman? Recent archaeological excavations are uncovering increasing evidence of female warriors everywhere, including in the Nordic countries.
In a stage performance, Tina Robinson and Marianne Petersen bring us closer to the warrior women of the north and playfully uncover the truth, conveying facts and origins.

17:30 Vorlesemanufaktur - Konrad or The Child from the Tin Can
Konrad is actually really delivered in a can! He is terribly neat and almost perfect, yet Ms. Bartolotti on the other hand is very messy. So it tales an effort for the two of them to get used to each other. But finally Frau Bartolotti is so fond of Konrad that she never wants to let him go.
The actors Maureen Havlena and Alexander Kruuse Mettin, co-founders of the Vorlesemanufaktur, read from this popular children's book by Christiane Nöstlinger. A humorous and hillarious reading for children aged 8 and over.

19:00 Mark Lyndon - Stress – You’ll just have to get through it!
In his latest stage show, British actor and presenter Mark Lyndon reflects on his experiences with the stress of Germans. Just the thought of it is stressful for him! But as the saying goes - you have to get through it. Mark Lyndon invites us to share this experience with him, to change perspective and to philosophize and laugh about stress factors, after-work stress and the risk of stress.
Mark Lyndon studied literature and theater in London and came to Hamburg in 1982. In Hamburg he worked for the University Players and the English Theatre, among others.
20:30 Siegmar goes hygge
The Hamburg based singer and entertainer Siegmar Tonk presents -together with pianist Matt Paul - a colorful summer bouquet full of melodies from all over the world and believe us, his journey around the world will be quite hyggelig: His program includes songs such as Wonderful Copenhagen, Sous le ciel de Paris, New York Rio Tokyo and Voyage Voyage.
Siegmar Tonk completed his training at the Hamburg Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama in 1995. After his stage debut in "A Chorus Line" at Kampnagel/ Hamburg, he took part in numerous other musicals throughout Germany. He was part of the premiere cast of "Mamma Mia!" in Hamburg and belonged to the world premiere cast of Udo Jürgens' "Ich war noch niemlas in New York”. Over the course of the last years Siegmar has also become known on the Copenhagen stage, with numerous performances and concerts as part of Move the North and HIT – House of International Theatre.
